I provide brief and long term in person and online therapy. I also provide Walk and Talk mindfulness therapy outside in nature.

I have a 30 year history professionally using my background in child human development, counseling and counseling psychology to help people feel inspired, motivated, and hold on to the willingness to make changes that are fulfilling and can last a lifetime. I also consciously use my practice to help myself when I get stuck and overwhelmed, or when I’ve encountered huge challenges. One of the most important things I’ve learned is to ask for help. This can be challenging for sure, but well worth it.

Willingness to meet challenges head on is what you’ll need to make change. My orientation is humanistic and person centered. My practice is empathetically strategic and solution focused. Sessions may last between 4 to 16 sessions because when things pop up either in treatment or in life, our time together can be a little longer.

I’ve added some therapy modalities below so you will understand more about what we can do together in therapy. It can be a little confusing what these exactly mean, so I’m happy to discuss modalities with you in a consultation.

Here they are: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Reality Therapy, Brief and Strategic Therapy, Relational Therapy, and Mindfulness Therapy are where I tend to lay my hat. I also provide consultation, psychoeducation and referrals.

Life throws curve balls that can be annoying, frustrating, shocking at times. Hey, what can seem minor to one may be overwhelming to another. I get it, It's ok.
